About

Vesna Rakic Vodinelic is a renowned Serbian legal scholar, legal practitioner and was a founder and distinguished professor at the Faculty of Law Union University in Belgrade. 

Vesna completed her legal education at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, where she earned her diploma in 1973, followed by a master's degree in 1978. In 1981, she achieved her Ph.D, defending her dissertation titled "Revision against Judgment."

Throughout her career, Vesna served at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, starting as an assistant and later ascending to the positions of associate professor and extraordinary professor. She demonstrated her expertise and leadership as the head of an expert group for judicial reform in Montenegro.

Vesna's impressive career also includes her tenure as the dean of the Faculty of Law, a director of the Institute of Comparative Law in Belgrade, and an esteemed Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Comparative Law in Paris.

Her multifaceted career and profound impact in both academia and legal practice exemplify her commitment to advancing the rule of law and contributing to the development of her country.
